More exciting news at Abbington! Vanessa Rosenhan, our Wellness Coordinator, has some great news.  Her wedding on September 22nd is approaching and we couldn't be happier for her and her fiancé Vincent Sumner.

        Vanessa and Vincent met in November of 2011. They both had joined the dating website "Plenty of Fish". It must have been fate because they sent each other an email at the exact same time. Their first date was just a dinner date, but they stayed at the restaurant for almost six hours. The rest is history.

     Vincent does a lot of handy man work. Currently he works remodeling homes. Vanessa loves having him there to fix anything around the house. She also loves how wonderful he is with her two-year-old son, Macen. Vanessa tells us that Vincent and Macen will run, jump, and wrestle for hours. He proposed to Vanessa at sunset on the beach in Oceanside, California.

   We are happy to announce the engagement of Maria Escobar and Charles Harvey! This is a wonderful love story that began at Abbington Manor.
   Charles' mother is a long-time resident of Abbington Manor. Maria has worked at Abbington the past two years in Housekeeping. For years, when Chuck visited his mother, a beautiful woman caught his eye. He assumed she was married. Maria apparently noticed Chuck too. Four months ago, Maria found the courage to ask Charles if she could come along sometime. (It didn't matter where.) Chuck's response was, "And how would your husband feel about that?" He was delighted to learn that she was single.
   We wish them a Happily Ever After!
